Gel Foundation Course

 Gel Foundation course - Private training

This course is designed for complete beginners, that wish to become Nail Technicians performing Acrylic Nail enhancements. It has been developed to give the confidence and knowledge required to start your own home business.  

It provides a Certificate of completion, once you have presented a portfolio of evidence showing 6 full sets and 3 maintenance sets.  There will be a written and practical assessment at the end of the 5 days where you will need to show all the skills learnt in one set of nails.

• Client consultation
• Occupational Health and Safety
• Anatomy and Physiology of Skin and Nails
• Contraindications of Skin and Nails
• Aftercare
• Natural Nail Preparation
• Tip Application and Blending
• Gel product - application, Natural nail overlay, extensions, repairs.
• Understanding the different gel systems in the industry ( hard gel, soft gel, polygel, gel polish, colour gel, BIAB gel ) and more
• Gel viscosity
• Maintenance Treatments
• Filing and Buffing Techniques
• Electric Filing
• Design work and colour application
• Maintain infection control
• Form extensions (using paper forms and dual forms)
  

The course is conducted in a private one-to-one setting at my studio in Albany Creek. Can also be offered online (by special arrangement only).  The student is shown how to maintain industry high standards, and will have continuous support after completing. 

Quality products are used through out all courses. 

Course Details:

Duration: 6 weeks – 1 day per week 

Hours: 10am- 4pm

Accreditation: Ignyte Nail Academy certificate of completion provided on successful completion.

Included:  A complete kit is provided which will help in starting your own business. 

Models:  Models will be needed throughout the training - this helps in adjusting to different client needs and types of nails.

COST: $1850 including small gel kit

Gel kit includes: 7g Akzentz proformance hard gel, 7g Akzentz options gel, 2x gel polish colour, Small Akzentz lamp, cuticle pusher, files, wipes, prep and wipe liquid, some nail art items, forms........

Deposit: A deposit of $200 upon booking, to lock in the agreed dates.
